Equitable Futures Case Competition

What is UWiB's Equitable Futures Case Competition?

The Equitable Futures Case Competition (EFCC) is an annual event hosted by the Undergraduate Women in Business (UWiB) in collaboration with the UW Business Alliance (UWBA) at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. EFCC focuses on solving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) challenges in the real world, showcasing the importance of DEI and how much we value it in today’s business landscape.

Each year, we introduce new themes and prompts that push students to think creatively, critically, and equitably. We partner with leading companies like Deloitte, Alvarez & Marsal, Lululemon, and more to bring you a dynamic and impactful experience.

This competition is very beginner-friendly and a great opportunity for anyone looking to dive into case competitions or gain experience tackling real-world business problems. Each team of four/five students will analyze a case, develop solutions, and present to a panel of judges, who evaluate the teams based on creativity, feasibility, communication, and teamwork.

Thank you for participating in EFCC 2025!

We are looking forward to seeing you all next year with another wonderful case.

Special thanks to our corporate sponsors for making this event a huge success!
