What is UWiB's Paving the Way Fundraiser?

The 18th Annual Paving the Way Fundraiser honored women in leadership, inspired those who are just starting their journey, and highlighted the work that has been and can continue to be done to pave the way for successful female business leaders..

Following a delicious dinner and the silent auction portion of the evening, we heard a keynote address from UWiB’s Woman of the Year, Wendy Sancewich. Wendy is an assurance partner at RSM US, LLP and has been with the firm for over 25 years. She is currently serving a four-year term on the RSM US Foundation’s Board of Directors and is an executive committee member of the Foster School of Business Accounting Development Fund Board. Throughout her career, Wendy has focused on promoting inclusion and raising awareness of the accounting profession.

With the money raised at this event, we contributed directly to our endowment, which awards one deserving member an $10,700 scholarship to assist them with educational expenses and further enhance their leadership skills. Our goal is to one day fully fund a deserving member’s annual tuition, of which your support can help us reach.
